Dearest Marilyn -                                            August 24, 2024.

I am sending you a heART full of LOVE as you embark on your heart journey, along with my prayers ( or good vibes in the universe if that is more your thing) but you will be in my thoughts everyday until you overcome this hurdle and are back to being 100% ! And you will be!

Although we just met, I felt such a strong connection to your heart, when I  gave you the artwork in  the foyer - just I did with Marion, when I met her - so I am glad I actually began working on the "thank-you" photo shot and surprise DedicACTion ( not a mere "dedication"  - if you accept it - of course) of Caledon.cool ( where Canadian.cool was "born" while i was going back and forth to San Francisco almost 10 years ago!)

I just reached out to Allan Thompson ( former Mayor as you know) who as my staunchest supporter with the beginning of my start ups and always believed in me and I asked him if I may dedicate ( in part) Caledon.cool and Canadian.cool to him - and he said YES! Here is an actual  "love letter" to Caledon" that Caledon Citizen printed  back in 2022 when Mayor Thompson stepped back to retire:

Only YESTERDAY I began working on Canadian.Cool starting with Windrush Estate Winery  - these pictures and videos were only meant for me to check out lighting etc. ( since my "studio" is basically my stove top)  and I was going to redo this week before sending you, John and Allan, but 
for now ... happy ( as possible) Sunday. I hope these bring some joy to your day the way your e-mail brought me this morning.

I am going to include all my videos as most are bloopers - since I had nothing written down - so literally and figuratively all I said was from my heart - but I need to write out the copy first for next round of videos for the official "SEND"

Marion - see you wines are safe :) and I will have them back to you when we meet next before Labour Day for sure! My bottle of  2020 Cabernet Franc is destined for a special birthday coming up in September of a true wine aficionado!

Also - Marion - beneath these the videos see the mushroom soup for the Loblaws RESCUE OVER "pitch" which may actually get to Galen Weston himself as per my contact at Loblaws- we shall see !!!!  Sending you both lots of love and a big HUG - gloria

This was supposed to be a close up to add voice to it after ( but I am just learning to edit) but the problem is that the fruit had been in my fridge for almost a week and it was not looking its best ( like me!)  so cant use this :)

And Marion... our some of the RescueOvers Mushroom Soup shots/videos... :))

Above are the "before' ingredients. The mushrooms, celery, parsley and the spiral squash would all have been thrown out - had it not been - "RESCUED" - with LOVE!
